Über Haus is a locally owned, veteran-owned design-build renovation firm serving Chicago’s western suburbs.
Our work is built around a simple idea: the people designing a renovation and the people building it should know each other.
Our interior designer, architect and lead carpenters work together throughout the project. That gives design a practical backbone and gives the building team a clear understanding of what the finished room is supposed to become.
Twenty-Five Years in Older Homes
The company is led by a fifth-generation carpenter with a construction management background and twenty-five years in residential renovation.
A lot of those years have been spent inside houses that were already old before any of us showed up.
That experience changes how you look at them.
You learn what is worth keeping. You learn how earlier builders solved problems. You learn that opening a wall is not permission to erase a house’s character.
